When and where is the Conference?
The conference is in Reykjavik, Iceland on October 11-13, 2023. The conference will primarily take place at the Harpa Concert Hall (Austurbakka 2, 101 Reykjavík).
Which airport do I fly to?
The primary International Airport is Keflavík International Airport. There is also Reykjavík Airport but there are only flights domestically (within Iceland) out of that airport.
What is the best way to get to Reykjavík from the airport?
There are no Uber or Lyfts in Iceland. The most cost-efficient option is to take a commercial bus (Flybus or Grayline) or public transport (Strætó, the local bus (Bus line 55) from Keflavik Airport to central Reykjavik (BSI Bus Terminal). Taking a taxi is also a (costly) option.
What currency does Iceland use?
Icelandic króna. Most places in Iceland accept major credit cards.
What is included in my registration?
Entry to all panels and keynotes, opening reception, guided walk through Reykjavík with Sofia Nanni on Day Two followed by drinks at the tollhouse. Opportunities to network, meet with friends and create new relationships. Please note that pedagogy workshop on Day One needs to be specially applied to firstname.lastname@example.org by September 15, 2023, see below.

Will the conference be virtual/hybrid or in-person?
The Conference will be fully in-person in Iceland, and we do not have virtual or hybrid options.
Will there be free wi-fi at the conference?
Yes, Harpa has a free, no sign-in, open-to-the-public wi-fi network. However, conference organizers cannot assist with troubleshooting connection issues.

Yes, if you are registered for the conference then you can join the tour free of charge.
